We went up to Wiarton to play mini hockey and take on Bruce Peninsula Northstars.
After taking a previous 8-6 loss, we turned the tables in this game and came out with a 6-2 win.
Tyson made his debut again and the lads started scoring for him right at the drop of the puck. It all started with Nate up to Conlan and finished of by Chayse through the five hole. Those two passers got together again as Gavin sniped a goal top shelf. Later Paul got the puck to Bigwheel Mason and he fired a top shelf too. The last goal in the first period had Andrew getting up to Mitch who shot on net with Brock sliding one in to end this quick action period up 4-1.
The second period solved nothing in the goal scoring side but the teams play hard hockey.
In the third they scored first but we came back at the 8:27 mark when Mason unleased a shot on net and Gavin poked in the rebound. The last goal in the game had Tie have the puck but the Northstars banged it to Conlan and he ringed a goal around the cross bars to end the game with a smooth 6-2 win.
With our 9-5-3 record with 3 games left, we sit in 3rd place in the standings just behind Walkerton #2 by one point and two points behind Saugeen Shores #2.
