Power plays was the name of the game.
Penalties on both sides made this a hard fought 3-3 tie against Saugeen Shores #2.
The first period had little penalties as we scored first when in a scramble Conlan passed to Chayse and we were on the board. Later we lost out on a 5 on 3 PP and after that they scored on a PP to tie it up. It was a very fast paced game in the smaller Tara arena.
The second had Bradley keeping us in the game with lots of nice saves. They snuck one in but we responded as Joe swooped in and fired top shelf for a great goal. They later scored before we started to kill off a 5 minute major late in the period.
More penalties again but Chayse passed over to Andrew who was parked beside the net and bang, he wristed one in to tie it at 3-3. At the 6:06 mark in the game Bradley make a smooth save to keep it tied. Joe also near the end blocked a hard shot with 27 seconds left to preserve our hard earned tie!!!
