Ice Dog White Finish Runner-up in AEMHA Tournament
The Novice White IceDogs finished the tournament in 2nd place after a tough fought loss against an undefeated Saugeen Shores Team.  The final score was 4-3 with a flurry of shots at the end.  Brayden P would end up as the Game 3 MVP for the IceDogs.

The Novice White Ice Dogs defeated their arch-rival from Saugeen Shores to kick off the Elroy Cummings Novice Tournament.  Carter M was the player of the game for the Ice Dogs!

The Ice Dogs faced the Belmont Rangers next and came out victorious with a 4-1 win.....a great team win with Jesse P taking MVP honours.

The Ice Dogs played their most complete game of the season in Game #1 against a Saugeen Shores Team that defeated them a month ago.  The line of Carter M, Jake F and Joey W were ferocious on the puck.  Waylon G. picked up his first goal of the year with a nice pinch from the blue line and Jesse P-Brayden P-Porter B line was spreading the puck around like peanut butter on bread. The defensive corps of Vivian, Waylon, Quinn and Cohen were a China Wall as the Storm couldn't enter the IceDog zone without been surrounded.   The final would end up 9-0 as Dylan L. picked up the shutout.

Game #2 saw the IceDogs pitted against the Belmont Rangers.  Belmont was definitely ready for this one and came out flying.  The peppered Dylan with shots but he deftly turned them aside (even without a stick for one save-plus the stick came up big too!)  The IceDogs would finally break through after some nifty passing send Jesse P in on 2 breakaways.  Vivian, Quinn, Waylon and Cohen were once again bringing their A-game as the Rangers couldn't break free.  Porter B. would make the pass of the tournament to spring Jesse for another breakaway to put the nail in the coffin as the Ice Dogs skated away with a 4-1 win and a ticket to the Finals.

The championship game was a rematch of game #1 of the season.  The IceDogs were focused and ready and Cohen H. would blast home a cannonading drive from the blue line after Jesse P and Brayden worked the puck down low.  Saugeen Shores would respond as their red-hot sniper found the back of the net behind Dylan.  Saugeen Shores continued to get most of the bounces and they soon had a 3-1 lead on the 'Dogs as period 2 game to a close.  But these IceDogs don't know the meaning of the word quit and would mount a comeback.  Brayden P would send Jesse in alone for a goal to make it 3-2 but the Storm battled back with a 4th goal.  With time winding down, the IceDogs poured shots at the net and managed to climb back within 1.  As the clock continued to tick, the IceDogs pressured the Stom net from all angles but couldn't get the red light to turn on.  The final would end 4-3 Storm.

What an effort from everyone!  We played some of our best hockey of the season and we will be ready for the Storm should we meet in the playoffs.

Congrats to our IceDog brothers and sisters from the Novice Black Team with a B-Final Win and the Novice Rep team for a B-Final Runner-up finish.
