Good effort on the BIG Ice!!!!!
The Novice LL Ice Dogs headed to the Plex for another tilt with Saugeen Shores.

The Ice Dogs played a strong first period generating some scoring chances and keeping the Storm out of our end for the most part. We headed into the second down 1-0 but determined not to let this one get away. With some great saves by Tyson and strong defensive zone coverage by our defence, Chance was able to get away alone and made no mistake netting his first goal of the season. The Storm scored late in the second but the team was feeling good heading into the third. Unfortunetly our bad habits of standing and wathcing vs skating and chasing hard left our defense and Tyson in the center of the Storm. Without Tyson's nerver give up attiutde things could of got out of hand, but big saves and second efforts kept the score to a 4-1 win for the storm. A big hockey stick salute to Rob who had a very stong game on defense and added in a couple of nice offensive rushes. If we keep working hard and take our practice effort to a game I'm sure a win isn't to far away. See you at practice on Wednesday!!
