Glad to be done with the Plex!!
Feeling like we drive to Port Elgin every Sunday, the dogs hit the ice taking on the Storm. The dressing room was a buzz of positive enegry showing the coaches the boys were ready to play.
The Storm got ahead quickly with a lucky bounce but Tyson soon shut the door making some great saves. Staying with the positive attitude we soon had the Storm pinned in their end but couldn't find the twine.
The second period brought a little challenge as we allowed the Storm to control the pace of the game. As usual Tyson kept us in it with some great breakaway saves!!!! Down by 4 heading into the 3rd, there was no quitting and we ramped up the pressure. The Storm knew they were in for a tough period as Rob threw a nice, but of course accidental hip check ( wink, wink!!!). Not as much wind in the Storm after that. Logan broke the shut out late in third after grabbing the rebound off Nic's breakaway chance. Great hussel boys!! Although it was another loss we continue to make great strides as a team. Nobody looks at us as an easy win anymore. Hockey stick salute to Will, showing his teammates that holding your postion leads to good things. Keep up the great work and you will get one soon.
