OWEN SOUND ATTACK JUST TO STRONG
The Ice Dogs took the ice on Friday night vs the Owen Sound jr Attack in Tara.
The hardest game to play is the one that you pretty much know the result before you even step on the ice.
The coaching staff was really pround of the kids as they kept a positive attitude and gave it their best.
Taking it one shift at a time we put out our best effort but fell short with the game ending up 8-0 in favour of the Attack. A well coached team with no weak spots the Attack had 6 different goal scores and 11 of their 12 skaters on the score sheet with goals or assists. With some hard skating we were able to generate a few scoring chnaces but weren't able to find the twine. We did have several postives to draw on after the game. Tyson was strong between the posts as always ( tough game to get on your birthday, thanks for the cup cakes they were yummy!!!!!). Our defense worked hard for all 3 periods, being under seige most of the game. Hockey stick salute to Will and Liam. Will set a great example with hard skating and being aggressive on the puck. Liam's positional play was the best we've seen from him yet. Keep up the good work boys. As a group we get better each game and that's all we can ask for. See you at practice on Monday!!
