BIG SAVES and GREAT PLAYS IN WIARTON!!!
Trying to keep the postive's rolling after a win and strong games in our local tournament, we headed to Wiarton for a tilt with the Wild.

After a bit of a slow start we found our legs and put lots of pressure on the Wild goalie but couldn't get one past the keeper. Maybe the bright pink helmet was distracting our snipers? Tyson kept us in the game with some great saves against their big shooter. One glove save on a break away was worthy of a poster on the bedroom wall!!! (Don't see any Leaf goalies doing that!!) No score after period 1. The wild mangaed to get a couple in the second but again strong play from Tyson and our defense kept us in it. In the third our forwards found a differnt gear and dominated the period with attack after attack on the Wild. Being in the right postion with stick on the ice paid off for Liam as he snapped one past the keeper, with assist going to Logan. With Nic and Logan checking hard and driving their big guy nuts!!! (good job boys!!) we continued pestering the goalie with shot after shot. Will and Chance had a couple of great chances along with Tylee on a break with a few minutes left but we couldn't tie it up. Pretty tense and high energy game for a coach just returning from a week of R&R!!! Great job everybody, that game is how hockey is supposed to be played!! Keep up the good work!!!
See you at the rink.
