Can't Find the Twine in the Plex
The AEMHA Novice LL squad headed to Port Elgin on a fresh Sunday morning for a tilt with the Storm.
After the players got over the shock of the size of the ice surface we got down to business.
Late in the first the Storm potted two goals heading into the second period with a 2-0 lead. The second was a spirited back and forth battle with both goalies making lots fo saves. Nic fired a hard one off the Storms goalies forhead letting them we weren't giving up. Despite several scoring chances from Nic, Tylee and Grif we couldn't get buldge the twine. With big ice taking the steam out of us late in the third the Storm pulled away. Big thanks to Logan for stepping up and playing awsome in net while Tyson is on vacation. Always great to know we have a strong back up tender. Looking for our first win this Friday in Tara vs Bruce Pen. See you there!!!!!
