After some tough contract negotiations, the staff writer is back on duty with a well-deserved doubled salary and ready to keep everyone up to date on the AEMHA U18 Tara Legion Ice Dogs. Game 1 vs Blyth Brussels Crusaders....

On a very warm November evening the Tara Legion U18 Rep AEMHA Ice Dogs were hosting the Wingham Ironmen for a battle of two undefeated teams.  This would be a test for our team with a tough adversary and the pressure from the fans to be thoroughly entertained.  

Hopping on the Tara Legion U18 AEMHA team coach bus we were off to Blyth for a Halloween tilt with the Blyth/Brussels Crusaders.  The game started with the home team welcoming their visitors with a very physical introduction.  This would be a quick learning curve for some players who haven’t seen as much bumping and grinding as they found themselves in.

Back at home with 2 wins under their belt the Tara Legion U18 Rep Ice Dogs hit the ice for their prime-time Sunday Night in Chesley tilt with the South Bruce Blades.  With a big crowd on hand the home team was ready to entertain and dazzle all their fans.

It was our first road trip of the season, and we were off to Listowel to play the Cyclones C team. Although the long flight and wait times at the airport may have made the Tara Legion U18 Rep team a little weary they came out strong with good pressure and a balanced attack to start the game.
