Icedogs Fall to Huron-Bruce
Icedogs and Huron-bruce both came out of the gates early on with some end to end action.
Late in the first Huron-Bruce jumped ahead with 2:37 left on the clock, and got their first goal, just 1 minute later Huron-Bruce made it 2-0. Icedogs and Coaches regrouped during the 1st intermission and answered back with a goal late in the second scored by Calhon Urbshott and assisted by Landon Smit, but Huron-Bruce managed to net a 3rd goal leaving the score 3-1 after 2. After 2 solid periods of play Will Hampton and his group of defense managed to hold back Huron-Bruce. Just .45 seconds into the 3rd Hunter Thompson scored his first of the season, assisted by his line mates Calhon Urbshott and Jackson Mannerow putting Icedogs back within 1, Huron-Bruce found their extra gear and quietly scored 3 more goals to make the final 6-2. Icedogs played a great game lots of effort but couldnt stop the top Novice team. Up next we host TCDMHA February 22 at 10am in Paisley.
