Who Let The Dogs Out?
No blizzard was going to stop these Icedogs from playing. Thankfully the skies cleared and roads were opened so we could travel to Flesherton to play the Golden Hawks.

Landry Wathke's line took the opening face off and delivered the Golden Hawks some deep zone play, so just 3 minutes in Landry nets our first goal assisted by Paysen Hamel to allow Icedogs to jump out with an early 1-0 lead. 2 minutes later Paysen Hamel picks up some garbage in front of the net assisted by Jordie Stephen and buries it. Icedogs relaxed a wee bit and allowed Flesherton to get on the board, making it a 2-1 game, this wasn't acceptable for Jackson Mannerow's line so they rebounded with a beautiful along the ice goal scored by Hunter Thompson assisted by Jackson Mannerow and Calhon Urbshott.  Going in to the 2nd our bench staff decided to do some line juggling which allowed Landon Smit from his new right wing position to feed Jackson Mannerow the puck in the slot for it then to be placed in the back of the Golden Hawks net. Sweet Willy Hampton stood strong at the other end holding the Golden Hawks to just 1 goal with some help from his stay at home defencemen Cole McClure and Trent Livingston, with just a minute left in the second Jordie Stephen Pots his first of the game assisted by Landry Wathke, thanks to the usual hard work performed by his sister Avery moving pucks out of Icedogs zone. With lines back to normal for the 3rd Icedogs continued to keep pucks deep in Flesherton's end and defense held the line strong, at the 7 minute mark Icedogs fell short and allowed Golden Hawks to get back on the board but once again our defense getting pucks out allowed Jordie Stephen to score witch allows Icedogs to get their 6th goal assisted by Landry Wathke. Brock Buchanan- Post along with his defense pairings have elevated their game to that of near perfect, which in return allowed Brock to net his first of the season with a beautiful saucer like wrist shot from the point and founds its way across the goal line. Sweet Willy remained unbeatable for the remainder of the 3rd, Icedogs win with a 7-2 final.  Up Next Icedogs host the Huron-Bruce Blizzards on Friday March 6 at 7pm in Tara.
