Consolation Championship - Game 2
The Novice LL White season drew to a close Tuesday March 21st as they lost game 2 of the Consolation Championship 4-2 to Saugeen Shores LL #4.

Both teams came to the rink ready to play and the game opened with fast & furious action in both ends.
The Storm opened the scoring in the first period but midway thru the period Lucas S was able to even the score as he netted the tying goal, assisted by George I.
Karden C made a tremendous sliding glove save for the Ice Dogs to keep the score at 1-1 but the Storm battled back and were able to net their second goal of the game late in the period.
Lucas S scored the lone goal for the Ice Dogs in the second period unassisted.
The Storm would go on to score 2 more goals themselves before the period ended.
The Ice Dogs defensive and offensive lines worked hard together during the third period and despite pulling their goalie, were unable to capitalize on their chances, leaving the final score 4-2 for SS#4.
Congratulations to Saugeen Shores #4 on winning the Consolation Championship.
Congratulations to the Novice LL White team on becoming Consolation Championship Finalists!!!
