Novice LL White vs Saugeen Shores Storm 4
On Saturday February 25th the Novice LL White Ice Dogs travelled to Southampton for game 2 of a 2 game round robin against Saugeen Shores Storm 4.
Karden C was between the pipes for the Ice Dogs and kept the Storm off the scoreboard until the second period when they were able to slip past the Ice Dog defenders and scored on a high wrist shot blocker side.
The Storms goalie would continue to turn away each of the Ice Dogs attempts to score until late in the third period when Chris P streaked down the ice and was able to flip his own goal in over the tender.
With the score tied 1-1 the game proceeded to OT. Both teams had great scoring chances but the goalies were ready and after a full 10 minutes of OT, the game ended at a draw.
