The Novice LL White Ice Dogs travelled to Lion's Head on Tuesday January 24th to face the Bruce Peninsula Northstars. After the long journey north, Ice Dogs fans were rewarded as the team worked together to put 10 goals on the scoreboard while Karden C kept the home team scoreless, earning another shutout.
Late in the first period, Braden N, assisted by Lucas S and Randi-Lynn J, scored his first goal of the season. Less than one minute later Chris P netted the second goal of the game thanks to a great pass by Vivian W.
George I got on the game sheet with 37 seconds left in the first period with a goal assisted by Hudson J. Only 8 seconds later Lucas S added a goal of his own.
The second period opened with another goal by Braden N, assisted by Lucas S. Two other members of the Ice Dogs defense core were able to add goals in the second period. Those goals went to Simon J and Ella M.
The Ice Dogs were not done yet.
Hudson J scored early in the third period on a great wrap around. Less than 15 seconds later Lucas S netted his second goal of the game. George I, assisted by Calista H would round out the scoring.
