Saugeen Shores Winterhawks
What a night for 6 members of our novice team! Kolby, Wyatt, Joshua, JJ, Tina and Grace all had a great experience attending the Winterhawks game!
The night started out with our Dogs wearing the Winterhawk jerserys as they had an opportunity to be the official flagbearers for this game. It was alittle different seeing the players in blue and white instead of red and white, but they looked good. Carrying and skating with the flags, the players completed 2 laps before lining up on the blue line with the Hawks for the singing of O'Canada. One player was quoted as saying, 'they talked to me and asked me a question!" The fame of it all!! All players did a great job! Next up, was the shoot-out on Kolby just after the first period. Three of the Hawks players joined our guys and gals for this, it was neat to watch as both players from each team where busy interacting and having fun. The kids, big and little all came off of the ice with lots of smiles and laughs. Our Dogs received a Hawks puck, sticker and a winter hat for participating. The Hawks won the game and it was a awesome night for everyone!! Thanks to the Pawley's for looking after this night for our players. Check out the photo gallery for more pictures from the evening.
This week will bring practice on Thursday night, 6pm in Tara.
