Busy week for our Dogs
It has been a busy week for our Ice Dogs. Starting off on Tuesday night, with a crowd pleasing game against TCDMHA and following with a nail-biting game on Sunday as the Predators cam to town.
Tuesday was a back and forth game with TCDMHA! Our players worked hard, skating, passing and digging against the boards. Ryan hard to serve a penalty for too many players on the ice, no big deal these things happen. It was a great game with a 2-2 draw at the end. Way to go Ice Dogs!! Don't give up and keep that pressure on!!
On Sunday, the Predators came to Tara. It was a show-down right from the beginning, lots of great shots and saves by both goalies, keeping the fans on the edge -of-their-seats!! The Ice Dogs got on the board first and fought hard to maintain that lead. It was a real "coast-to-coast" type of game as all players worked hard. The game ended in a 3-2 victory of our whites. Goals went to Joshua, Grace and Colby. Good job Dogs!!
Next up for our whites is Friday night practice at pm in Chesley.
Keep your stick on the ice and remember to look at the jersey colour and not to be taking the puck from your own player!
