Lakers come to Paisley
Well, folks what a game for our whites!!  Not sure if it was the post Christmas feel or that one referee was late, but the fans were not disappointed with this game!!

It was the first showing for "Wyatt, big-save" between the pipes.  Man, he could really show any NHL goalie athing or two about making saves!!  Wyatt was on fire making pad saves, toe saves and glove saves!!  First game in net and first career shut-out, way to go Wyatt!!  It was a much faster pace game than what maybe our players are used to, but that did not seem to faze them.  The girl "D" of Grace and Halle worked well together, with strong skating and passing back and forth, they certainly knew where each other were positioned on the ice.  The guy "D" of Austin and Kolby were the same, taking strong rushes at times and yet staying back to help cover, not too many times did the puck not get past them.  Great team work fellows!!  The forward line of Ryan, Tina and Nathan worked extremely well together!  They were watching out for each other to make a few great passes and tuff digging for that puck along the boards.  The line of Tori, George and Joshua, wow what a job!!  George had too many break-aways to count, keep going George and don't give up!  Tori did awesome with her face-off's and kept on-trying, that shows determination.  Joshua, don't give up once you take that shot, you can always get your own rebound!!  That can surprise the goalie and catch him/her off guard.   The Lakers did not give up either, there were a lot of terrific passes and shots on the net.  This game was a true battle until the end, yet our Dogs ended up with the win 3-0, goals went to Tina, Kolby and Joshua, hardest working player of the game was Grace, congratulations to all players on a well-deserved win.
JJ was missing from action, hopefully he will be back on Friday.  Next up for our whites, practice on Friday night in Tara at 7pm.  It will be a shared practice with the red novice team.
Keep your stick on the ice and no shot on net is wasted.
