Don't cry that its over, Smile because it happened!
Sweats, nausea, racing heart, the inability to sit still... Yep that's playoff hockey for you!
Game 4 of the OMHA semi finals on yet another dreary night. Once again the lobby was full of fans, the support you have all shown this amazing group of  kiddos is truly heart warming. Please know they loved seeing you in the stands and hearing you cheer them on

A huge shout out to our 3 coaches, this isn't just a sport for them it is a passion. Sharing their knowledge and expanding their skills, teaching them the importance of hard work and how it pays off. To see how far each player has come since September has been an incredible journey to watch! We have truly become a family in every sense of the word.
This series was the best hockey these kids have played all season and I hope they are just as proud of themselves as we are of them!!
Though game 4 was not the outcome we had hoped for, we lost with great sportsmanship as we cheered on the Lakers. Watching our crew come out of the dressing room with smiles and laughter was the best sight to see, almost better then watching the game they just played. We have taught them well!! We wish Shallow Lake all the best as they head to Windsor, just know that we wish we could be there with you.
Playing the Lakers brought out our best hockey, we were very evenly matched but unfortunately only one team could go on.
This hockey season saw some really special moments that will be memories forever. Your U11 Reps won Silverstick, we won the Minto Tournament in Palmerston, and we FINALLY got our weekend away at the Elmvale Maple Syrup Tournament playing B and BB centres and holding our own! We had an exceptional regular season only losing 1 game and tying another!
We are sad that our season has come to end, but we had one more skate left in us. Last nights skate was for fun, it was about celebrating, it was about friendship, it was a skate to leave it all on the ice and focus on the most important thing. Spending time with family. The laughter, the competitiveness , just being silly was a welcoming sight. We played for fun, and we played hard, knowing there was pizza at the end was the most important reason of all.
As I have mentioned before, there is more to hockey then just playing the sport. A lot of behind the scene happen that doesn't go unnoticed.
Thank you firstly to the parents~ this sport wouldn't happen if we didn't drive them to the rink, get them their gear, and let's be honest tying their skates!
