Tie for the IceDogs vs Lakers
On a chilly weekend the Novice Rep IceDogs headed up to Shallow Lake for their second game of the weekend.
The boys came out of the gate with a lot of fire ready to even the score from last time. They battled hard, keeping the play in the Laker end for most of the first, finally getting one by the goalie on a laser like shot from Owen M. after a couple of nifty passes from Karden C. and Gryphon B.
In the second the IceDogs other line of Ian M. Anthony K. and Ethan S. decided to get on the board with Ethan S. burying one as well. The defense played well, supporting each other and making nice rushes up the ice as well as moving players away from their net.
The IceDogs continued to battle hard but one could see they were tiring and held on to get a tie as the Lakers mounted a comeback to tie the game late in the third.
Overall it was a good weekend with the Novice IceDog Rep team playing very well in both games.
