IceDogs Run Out of Time
The Novice IceDogs headed down to Walkerton for an afternoon meet up.
The boys played a great game checking and angling and keeping the Captials chances to a minimum. There were some great end to end rushes only to be stopped by the Capitals goalie. IceDogs goalie Peyton L. played great making fantastic including a spectacular glove save! No Score after the first period and down by 1 at the end of the second. The Capitals got one more early on in the the third.
With a minute and a have in the third, Ethan S. rushes down the right side drawing the defense to him and dishes one to an open Ian M. who buries it blocker side. The IceDogs keep pressing but just run out of time. Great game guys. You showed excellent effort and determination. Now on to Shallow Lake this afternoon!
