Nayal M, Jersey Number 34 - Defense-woman
Nayal loves hockey. You can tell when you watch her on the ice and on the bench. She is always immersed in the game. Cheering for her teammates. Celebrating their big moments and feeling their errors. Coach Says she can always be counted on to stand up at the offensive blue line and keep the puck in. On occasion in the arena you hear her called "Nails" because she is pretty tough. Her favorite on ice drill is Power Dots its drills like this one that have improved her skating so much this season. The coaches are really proud of her progress.
Her favorite NHL Team is the Pittsburgh Penguins so we are not surprised to hear her favorite player is Sidney Crosby! In the OHL she favors the local team our own Owen Sound Attack... Go Bears!
In the off season she plays soccer. Keeping her skills sharp.
When asked what kind of sandwich she would be her answer was spicy or sweet. Which describes Nayal to a T! She is even parts of both.
She is also a pet owner. She has a lovely cat at home to comfort her when she is down and pay with when she is on a streak.
Nayal is a great teammate and we are so glad we can share her with you.
