Atom LL Red Featured Player of the Week - Dom
Dominic aka Dom, Jersey Number 15, is a solid player who has found his niche in defense.
Dom gives it his all, every time he is on the ice. He is a great sportsman always supporting his teammates. Solid and reliable. There when you need him. Coach says Dom can be counted on to clear the puck from in front of the net and stand up to the rush from the opposing team at our blue line.
In practice and in warmup he likes the horseshoe drill. What excites him about hockey? Scoring, though he doesn't get as many opportunities in defense he is always ready to celebrate with his team.
He is a San Jose Sharks fan whose favourite player is Joe Thorton. In the OHL he is an Attack Fan. In the off season he plays soccer to keep his skills sharp.
If he were a sandwich? Jam. Simple, solid, packs a punch with sweetness.
His Celebrity Hockey Coach? The Rock. Why? It doesn't Matter! When you smell what Dom's got cookin'.
