It was a snowy Monday Evening in Tara when the IceDogs once again faced the Bruce Peninsula Predators. And what a great game it was, edge of your seat back and forth hockey between two well matched teams. A great way to end 2014 for everyone.
The IceDogs knew it was going to be a tough game to win as the Predators had something to prove having lost to the IceDogs in their last meet up. The Predators did not disappoint. Keeping the game scoreless throughout most of the first period. But
Emmett J. assisted by Colby H. (AP) and
Kiernan L. put one in the net with a little over 3 minutes left in the first.
The IceDogs kept at it through the second, but the Predators Logan K. tied things up just a few minutes in.
There were plenty of gasps and groans from the packed house in Tara as each team came close over and over to breaking the tie. But both teams must have used up all of their luck for 2014 for there were no goals to be had.
