Wednesday night the IceDogs arrived at the Cyclone Taylor Arena hoping to go home with a final win. The Warriors had other ideas.
In a recurring trend for the IceDogs the first period was scoreless. With the IceDogs pushing to get that first goal, taking lots of shots on net but never getting any in. Goaltender
Tyson L. took many shots from the Warriors but didn't let any get by.
The second period was the same again, the play moving up and down the ice as each team tried to score the stalemate breaking goal. Unfortunatly for the IceDogs it was the Warriors who broke that stalemate with just 10 seconds remaining in the period.
The IceDogs came back with a vengeance in the third really digging for the puck and looking for their chance to score. Keeping the play mostly in the Warriors end the IceDogs took shot after shot but could not even the score.
Final Score 0-1 Warriors, the Tie breaker game is in Durham at 7pm on Friday March 27th.
