Saturday morning proved to be a good one when the Novice Rep IceDogs took on the West Grey Warriors. The two teams were well matched as they faced off in Durham.
The first period consisted of great back and forth hockey action for all the spectators to enjoy as each team tried to be the first to put one up on the scoreboard.
The game remained scoreless until the end of the second period.
Emmett J. took a shot on the Warriors Goaltender and
Kiernan L. picked up the rebound.
It stayed one nothing until late in the third period when the Warriors netted a shorthanded goal. The IceDogs and Warriors continued their back and forth battle for the remaining few minutes of the third period but the Goaltenders held everyone off leaving the final score 1-1.
