Slow start was too much to overcome !!!
The Pee Wee LL Reds started the game against South Bruce being out hustled, but we made it interesting in a late game surge.
Down 2-0 after the first period, we started to pick up the pace in the second period, and we started to show some results finally in the third period. Ethan B made a beauty pass from the corner to a wide open James W, who just stuck out his stick to deflect the puck in for his first goal of the year. Connor W then fired a quick release shot from the point into the net for a PP marker, making us down 3-2. Brock M then came out of the corner and fired the puck in the top shelf, making it 5-3 and the pressure was on. Then with 43 seconds left, we pulled our goalie after South Bruce took a penalty, and we had a 6 to 4 skater advantage. The game ended with us swarming all over but couldn't solve our goal woes, and the game ended with the same score.
