Three for three and on a roll !!!
The Red Icedogs are on a roll as they played 3 games last week and added 3 more wins in the 'home and away' series.
First up was Bruce Peninsula and we peppered their net with tons of shots on their 'happy go lucky' goalie and came out on a 8-1 win. Brock scored on a wrister in the first period, but the floodgates opened up in the second period as Bradley AH on a point goal, Logan on a sweet low shot, Brock again, a beauty clapper by Connor, and another by Brock on a 'give and go' with Mitch VV, all scored to put the game away. The third period saw Brock score again on a wrister, and Mitch K finish the game playing forward and roof a goal topshelf.
Second game was in Hanover and this weird game started off with a nice pass by Mitch VV to a wide open Brock, who slid the puck in. Mitch VV then scored with a top corner goal, and we were up 2-1 going into the second period. Bradley made many tough saves to preserve our lead, and in the dying minutes of the third, we survived a 'goal' that Mitch VV pulled out of the net before the whistle went and a goalie pull near the end, as the game ended the same in a 2-1, hard fought, penalty trouble win.
Lastly was Saugeen Shores #3, and with Gavin back from some fun in the sun, he helped us win a close 3-2 win. B-Rad AH came through with 2 goals, one on a 'spin-o-rama' and the other on a rebound, and Connor blasted a clapper under the cross bar, and we continued on our winning ways with two more games to go in the series.
The Red Dogs have played some excellent hockey lately, making this team a well oiled machine.
