A close one right to the end.
Pee Wee LL Red played tough all game against TCDMHA Rebels but let it slip away late in the third.
The game in Tara on new ice wasn't a good thing for us to start the game, as we fell behind 2-0 late in the first period. We seem to have slow starts, forgetting what our positions are in the game. Things started to come together later in the 'scrambly' period, and Gavin H took a shot from the blueline which found its way into the net, assisted by Mitch V V and Brock M.
The second period saw us digging hard, and on the PP, Bradley A H finished off a mad scramble in front of the net, putting the puck in the top corner, with assists to Brock M and Parker H. Later in the period, Mitch V V let another point shot go, and it went flying into the net, with assists by Gavin H and Ethan B, ending the second in a 3-3 tie.
The third period had Bradley H making more nice saves, in a back and forth period until TCDMHA scored late in the game, ending a hard fought game at 4-3.
The puck was squirting around all night, and the last squirt went into the wrong net. Practice up on Saturday guys and we will go at it again next week.
