What a game in Tara !!!
The Saugeen Shores #2 came to play the Ice Dog Reds and it was a very spirited affair.
The first period was very close, with the team playing better 'as a team', and Tatum was her usual self, making lots of tough saves.
In the second with us down 1-0, Connor W sent a knuckler from the point into the net, and the comeback was on. We were all over them in their end and it soon paid off with Mitch V V firing in a low 'in and out' goal that turned out to be the game winner.
The third period was more of end to end action, and after Tatum made a beauty leg pad save, S.S. pulled their goalie, and after a mad scramble to the end, the Ice Dogs won a great game.
Nice team win !!!
