Ice Dogs sink Lakers with a 6-2 win...
The Pee Wee Red Ice Dogs played a well rounded game as former Ice Dogger Cameron L and friend Tatum E made many good saves to make it an interesting game to watch.
The team finally got some power play goals as Jordan O. scored first with a deflection on a nice shot by Mitch K and Mitch K followed that with another PP goal on a great wrister from the point (with no help from Cement Hands). Mitch V V then squeaked a low shot in the far side to finish the first period up 3-0.
The second period was alot of pressure in the Shallow Lake end, but the Lakers put one in, to end the period at 3-1.
The third period had us putting more pressure on the SL goalie and it paid off as Tie J, Jordan O with his second, and Tie J again with 1.3 seconds to go, all scored to finish the game with a 6-2 win.
Austin H, Jordan O, and Tatum E both finished with two assists, with Mitch V V, Mitch K, Brianna S, Tie J, and James W all finished with one assist each.
Nice effort by everyone...
