Ice Dogs comeback win over the Rebels

The U13 Ice Dogs travelled to Keady to take on a very fast and good Rebels team on Wednesday night. The Rebels came to play at puck drop and the Ice Dogs were a little slow out of the gate. After two quick goals by the Rebels the Ice Dogs woke up and started there come back. Carter M started us off with one of his patented 'Mole goals' and then Jesse P got sprung on a breakaway shortly after and it was 2-2. Then Jesse P with another and we had the lead, only for the Rebels too come right back with another and it was 3-3. 2 more by the Ice Dogs (Aden M and Jesse P) and 1 by the Rebels and it was 5-4 at the second intermission. Conner B line of Landry W and Carter M played absolutely awesome and checked the Rebels at every turn. Porter B must have been practicing stickhandling in a phone booth as the Rebels could not take the puck away from him. Our defense in the third was picture perfect and kept all offensive rushes to the outside. We scored a late one and skated away with a hard fought 6-4 win. Great job Ice Dogs.
