The winning streak is over...
The Arran-Elderslie Pee Wee LL #2 suffered their first loss of the season against the Shallow Lake Lakers.
The Pee Wee LL White team looked uninspired as they took the ice Saturday against Shallow Lake. It may have been the size of the other teams players, or the distraction on the bench, but the kids just didn't seem to be in the game that day.
We came out of the second period down by a goal, but 11 seconds into the third, Ethan M. came storming down and shot one in the top of the net. The play stayed back and forth, but we just couldn't keep up and Shallow Lake responded with a breakaway goal. The final score was 2-1 for the Lakers.
Well kids, you took your first loss like champs...even the assistant coach took a nose dive like the rest of you!
We have some practices coming up over the holidays, let's take the time to sharpen our skills and be prepared for the next half of the season!
