Another Nail Biter!
This well-matched series against Mt Forest has been an exciting one with both teams winning a game by only one goal!
Game one saw us in Tara for an action packed game. Everyone came out to the ice filled with enthusiasm and ready to start the series. Despite our best effort we couldn't get the equalizer and lost the game 4-3. It was a great game to watch and had the crowd on the edge of their seats.
Game two was just as exciting! Mt Forest came out flying and dominated the first period, but Tatum E. kept them at bay and we headed into the second at 0-0. We came alive in the second period and Ethan M. got us on the board with a shot from the point on the power play. We quickly added to our lead when Austin H. jammed in a rebound. Afterwards we ran into some penalty trouble that saw us 3 on 5. We managed to kill off the penalties, but it left us tired and Mt Forest came back with a goal. The second period ended at 2-1.
Mt Forest tied it up right away in the third period and everyone was on the edge of their seats. The well-matched teams were going back and forth until Austin H. poked in a rebound to put us ahead with 5 minutes to go. We were able to defend our net and ended with a 3-2 win over Mt Forest.
