Pee Wee LL White starts off the Round Robin Series with a Couple of Wins
Pee Wee LL White started their playoff round robin with a couple of great wins.
Valentine's Day we had a date with Walkerton Capitals in Chesley. We scored early when Todd J. jammed one in from in front of the net and we made a good first impression. We must have had our head in the clouds during the second period, because we let Walkerton make a move and they put one past us early on.
The score was tied 1-1 after the second and we took a moment to catch our breath during intermission. The kids were looking for a little inspiration...
"You know that movie, where the guys were down, and the coach came into the dressing room and said that speech....?"
It must've worked because Conlan K. came through with a quick goal to start the third. Up by one, we ran into a little penalty trouble, but our defense came through and limited Walkerton's chances. Conlan K. added one right at the end of the game to seal the deal! With our hearts in the game, we won 3-1.

Game two was on Sunday in Paisley against the Saugeen Shores Storm. The spectators had barely found their seats as Brandon P. scored 26 seconds into the game. It was a great way to calm the storm. The team really found their legs in the second period scoring 6 goals to blow the game wide open. With some great goal tending by Tatum and a teammate cheering us on from the stands (Kaiden), the Storm didn't stand a chance. Final score was 7-1
