Pee Wee LL White Wins Season Opener!
Arran-Elderslie Ice Dogs Pee Wee LL White started their season on a high note with a 3-1 win over the Kincardine Kinucks!
Full of energy and looking good with our souped (taped) up jerseys, the Local League team were ready to put on a show! First period had us up a goal after Brandon P. capitalized on his own rebound and Tatum made a last second save. The second period saw the Kinucks come back with a hard shot to the corner and a goal celebration that got under some Dogs skin! They were bound and bent to get that goal back.
On a line change, defense player Ethan M. saw his opportunity as he swiftly skated past all Kincardine defenders and roofed one into the top of the net! We were up by one and our defense were on a roll when less than 30 seconds later Todd J. stormed the net with Tie J. as the two of them got us our third goal. Great teamwork boys!
With some great goal tending by Tatum E. and some enthusiastic players, the Ice Dogs held it together and declared victory! Great game everyone! We are off to a great start!
