See-Saw Battle Ends in Tie
On Saturday, December 1, the Ice Dogs traveled to Port Elgin to challenge the Storm, team 2.  Like most games this season against Saugeen Shores, this was a see-saw battle.

The only scoring in the first belonged to the Dogs, when Dylan popped his first of three on the day.  In the second, the lead increased to two when Dylan scored, unassisted, at the 9:38 mark.  But the rest of the period belonged to the Storm, when they scored three unanswered goals, one at the 8 minute mark, and 2 within 7 seconds at the 2 minute mark.

But halfway through the third, Dylan completed his unassisted hat trick with 5 minutes to go, and the Dogs held on to record their second tie of the season.

The Dogs' next action is Monday night when they host the Storm 2 team for the last time this season.  This will be a great chance for the boys to claw their way back to .500 before a difficult looking schedule to wind up the regular season--a schedule that sees 7 of the remaining games against teams from Chatsworth and Shallow Lake.
