Mite White Season continues.....
Our Mite white team has really taken to this game called hockey!! There have been alot of firsts for this team......
The team motto is to have fun and learn about the game. We have been playing alot of games like, "Ship, shore" and "Bird and frogs". Both games have increased our skating, stopping, and quick turning using our blades. Of course, the Ice Dogs like being chased by the coaching staff!! Great work team-mates!!
As a coaching staff, we are very impressed at how our Mite Whites are learning about playing positions and more about passing the puck, but we do need to remember not to bunch-up and not to take the puck from our own players. It will come with more practice!!
Coach Scott wants to make sure each player has a good sweat on after next practice, so come prepared to skate, skate and skate some more!!
Keep your stick on the ice and see ya Wednesday in Tara for a 6 pm practice!!
