Colby H. Leads Atom LL Ice Dogs to Victory
The Atom LL White Ice Dogs hit the ice at the Tara Cyclone Taylor Arena to try to extend their win streak to 19 games on Tuesday night....and did Colby H. have himself a game!

The stands were packed with Storm and Ice Dog fans and it was standing room only for folks arriving late.  Coach Bob had the team ready for this one and Colby H. hit the scoresheet early with a blast from the blue line that eluded the Saugeen Shores Storm net minder to give the 'Dogs the early lead.  Larkin G., who had a tremendous game, lit the lamp midway through the first with a "Wendel Clark" like wrist shot and Colby would score again with another canonading drive from the point (they may have to mend the twine after that blast!)  Ryan P and George P would assist on the play as the 'Dogs kept the Storm hemmed in their end for most of the first period.

The second period saw the Storm push back and Josh S. was up to the test.  He made save after save to turn the Storm shooters away and this was easily Josh's best game of the season.  The 'Dogs would get some chances of their own but couldn't get one by the Storm goalie.  The P-P-G line was a little snake-bit for this one but Gavin, Ryan and George made play after play to keep the Storm at bay.

The third period started with yet another goal from Colby as he ripped another one from the blue line that was by the Storm net minder before he even saw it.  He would complete his 4 goal outburst with another rush down the wing and driving one past the Storm goalie.  Lucas W. would complete the scoring with a nice shot from the slot, with assists going to Daemyn E. and Larkin G.

This might have been the Ice Dogs most complete game of the season as they were firing on all cylinders in this one.  And the scary thing is that the coaches think this team has another gear!

The Ice Dogs have now won 19 games in a row and will go for number 20 this Thursday in Keady as they face the TCDMHA Rebels.
