Tyke White, 2016-2017 (Arran-Elderslie Minor Hockey)

On Saturday AEMHA hosted a fun day for Tyke aged players.  Teams from all over attended and put on quite a show.  There were many close games that ended with a goal to win in the last minute. Crowds were cheering (some were more than a little excited). All in all a great time was had by all. The Tyke White started the day with the most exciting and best game of the season.  It was a tight battle to the very end with a goal in the last minute to settle the score. A great game was played by both teams and the crowd was left speechless.  What a great effort!

The end of January and the start of February have proven to be a very busy time for the Tyke White team! Every time they turned around there seemed to be action packed games! First a date with Walkerton, then Shallow Lake, After that West Grey came to town and finally back to Shallow Lake for another barnbuster!!!  Boy we are ready for a break!!! The team has come a long way from the start of the season.  End to end rushes, tape to tape passes, one timers and backchecks. This team is exciting to watch!  Even with a goalie that occasionally thinks he's a defenseman... Great end to ...

Last weekend was a busy one for the AEMHA Tyke White Team.  On Saturday the team headed down the road to Durham for a hard fought battle against the West Grey Team. It was a great game with end to end rushes and spectacular saves made by both goalies! Great Show Then it was back to Tara for a game vs the Shallow Lake Black team on Sunday.  Once again both teams showed some great spirit with both goalies making great saves! Great performance and lots of fun to watch! Now on to Walkerton for a matinee game tomorrow! Let's keep up the hard work!

What a weekend!  On Saturday afternoon the Tyke White took on the Shallow Lake Tyke Yellow team.  It was an all out battle and both teams gave it their all.  Great Effort by both teams.  On Sunday we headed over to Owen Sound to play the mini-game during the Owen Sound Attack game.  With the split squad, there was lots of ice and some pretty cool end to end rushes.  Was very entertaining! Great job! Keep up the hard work! Now on to Bruce Peninsula!

Last Saturday the Tyke White rolled into Hanover to face the Tyke Grey team.  With the big ice there was lots of room and both teams showed how to play fast, fire wagon hockey!  With end to end rushes, great passing and awesome saves, both teams played great and had lots of fun! Great work and on to Ripley next weekend!
