Peewee LL take on the Storm!
The first period was a lot of back and forth from both teams and neither were able to get by the defence or goalie. Second period started off with a bang with Logan McIntosh getting a wicked top right corner goal assisted by Dylan McKinnon. With some great split moves and saves by our Goalie Bradley Hillier the second period ended with a 1-0 lead.
Bradley started the third period off with more saves and the dogs started knocking the goals in with some great passing between players. First Andrew Harris got an amazing slap shot goal from almost the blue line assisted by Gavin Hall. Then Conor McLeod flipped it up in the net assisted by Andrew Harris which brought the score up to 3-0. With little time left in the 3rd period the storm finally got on the board and dogs came back with Logan McIntosh getting a nice goal in the side of the net assisted by Rocco Krisza. Then some nice assists by Sam Von Richter and Gavin Hall passing it to Ethan Brown who slapped it in the net for the final goal and ended our game with a 5-1 win!!! The storm played a stormy game with not a lot of penalties called, but the dogs keep it clean for the most part (Logan) and we are very proud. Keep up the passing dogs it works well!
