Girls Keep Up the Momentum in West Grey
On a winners high after their Dec 10th win in Kincardine the AEMHA Atom Girls brought their game faces to Ayton to take on West Grey. It was a great battle with the IceDogs bringing home a 3-2 win.
With 7 minutes left in the first period west grey scored. The girls had many chances but the other goalie played well.
Second period both teams fought hard and with 3:36 left in the second Emily Me. scored. Shortly after there was a bad bounce and with 2:54 left in the second they went up 2-1. With just 20 seconds left in the second Jaydn answered back with a lucky bounce of our own.
With 9 minutes left in the third Jaydn got her second of the game making it 3-2. With 46 seconds left west grey fought hard with Ashlynn making a few good saves to hold them off to win the game.
All the girls played well.
