PINK in the RINK!!
The IceDogs are proud to take on Pink in the Rink this October in support of breast cancer awareness. Players and fans alike can show their support by taping their sticks pink throughout the month. Pink pins will also be available for purchase for $2.00 at the arenas. Be sure to mark your calendars for October 25, when our official Pink in the Rink Day takes place — a day full of exciting hockey action as teams battle it out on the ice. Join us for a community celebration featuring a barbecue, raffle table, and bake sale, all in support of this important cause.

Pink in the rink has become a tradition for many hockey teams as they drop the gloves in the fight against breast cancer. Awareness is spread through the month of October through pink stick tape, pink pins, everything pink. While everyone looks pretty in pink this month money is raised for the cause. This is one of the ways the hockey community gives back to all the hockey moms whose tireless efforts make playing the game possible.

1 in 8 Canadian women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. On average 72 Canadian women are diagnosed with breast cancer every day!

Pink in the rink is a way of giving back to the community. It's a way hockey players can show their support for those affected by the disease. Often those affected are women in the players lives - moms, grandmas, sisters, aunts - people who have helped players build their careers. They are the people that show up at 7:00am for a early morning practice and never miss a game.

This October lets show up, kick butt, and take down breast cancer together!
