Hey IceDog Nation!
Anyone else just a little bit excited to get back to the rink? And with weekend being Hockey Day in Canada, the timing couldn't be better. Have a great Hockey Day and here are a few things to remember when we head back to the rink on Monday:
1) MASK UP at all times! Keep those masks on right up until you put your helmet on.
2) Be ready to show your Covid Passport (QR Code) upon entering the arena if you are 12 and over.
3) We are asking that only 1 parent go into the dressing room area per player (only an issue with younger players)...more than one parent or family member etc. can watch the game from the stands/spectator area as those areas are at 50% capacity and large enough to handle the "crowd". PLEASE AVOID HANGING OUT IN THE LOBBIES OF THE ARENAS....there are signs posted with capacity limits in Arena lobbies so please respect them so we don't lose them!
4) there is a Covid screener on our AEMHA website....please use it if you are not sure if you or your child is well enough to enter an arena (it is very similar to the one used for schools--so basically, if they couldn't attend school, they shouldn't be at the arena).
In a nutshell, things are they way they were BEFORE the shutdown in early January. Use common sense, don't come to the rink if you don't feel well, don't "hang out" in the lobbies if you don't need too and we can finish off our season strong!
Good luck with the conclusion of your season IceDogs! I can't wait to read and hear all about it!
