Arenas in Arran-Elderslie closed from Jan 5-Jan 27
Hi IceDog Nation...certainly not the news we had hoped to kick the new year off with.
Starting on Wed, Jan 5, the Tara, Chesley and Paisley Arena will be closed until Jan 27.
It is our sincere hope that things open back up by then (or maybe sooner!)
It is extremely frustrating as a player, coach and executive to be going through this again...but let's make the best of it...build an outdoor rink, work on that shot, get a hockey fitness program going and make yourself even stronger when we return--and we will return! There is no quit in an IceDog!
The AEMHA Executive is extremely proud of our members as we did a great job managing covid in our facilities and amongst our teams. Thanks to our partners, the employees at the Arenas and our Municipality, for helping us figure out how.
Let's take a pause and comeback for playoffs, tournaments and end the season the right way!
