Annual General Meeting Alert!
Hey IceDog Nation!
The Annual General Meeting is going to be scheduled for a Zoom (online) Meeting next week. This is YOUR chance to become part of the IceDog Executive Team!
A link will be shared with all IceDog families at the beginning of the week but as you relax and enjoy Phase 1 of Ontario's re-opening plan, please consider the following:
The AGM is where we vote in new members and vote on people taking on new roles and.....
1) WE NEED A NEW PRESIDENT! It is a by-law that our organization MUST have a President. I am only permitted to serve as President for 2 years. Some one needs to step up and be the leader of this great team. I am happy to have a conversation about what it involves with anyone who is willing to take it on. WE WOULD NOT BE PERMITTED TO RUN A SEASON WITHOUT A PRESIDENT.
2) The position of Tournament Convenor is also available, although it is anyone's guess what tournaments would look like.
3) Please consider joining our Team and our Executive. We need new bodies, fresh ideas and people to take the reins as many of our Executive will have players graduating from our program in the next few years.
