AEMHA Award and Season Ending Virtual Banquets
Hey IceDog Nation!
With all the summer sun and heat, it's hard to think about hockey BUT that's just what the AEMHA Executive have been doing! To cap off the 2019/2020 season, teams from Novice to Midget held Virtual Award Banquets to celebrate their seasons.
Special thanks to all the Coaches, Parents and Players that made this happen and especially Larissa Hamel for getting all the awards figured out and distributed for each team.
Here are the results from each team plus some AEMHA Special Awards:
Volunteer of the Year - Sarah Webb - Sarah works tirelessly for her son's teams as Parent Rep and helping out wherever she can. Her organization make her a huge asset to any team (so much so that they wanted to vote her the MVP of her son's team!!!) Thank Sarah for helping make AEMHA one of the best organziations for kids to play hockey!
Coach of the Year - Kevin Waddell - Kevin took on the job of PeeWee LL 2 Coach at the beginning of the season and never looked back. His team's preparation for games as well as the way they played and practiced the game was second to none. Win/Loss record aside (and his team had a very good one and a chance at a championship banner), Kevin's dedication to his team was obvious. Thanks Coach Kev on a job well done!
