Annual General Meeting and Other Things!

The AEMHA Executive held their Annual General Meeting for the end of the 2019/2020 season. We voted on the Board for the upcoming season and welcomed some new members...in the coming days, the AEMHA website will be updated to reflect the new changes.
In the meantime, there are a couple of highlights I would like to bring to your attention:
1) If you have ANY interest helping out on the ice as a coach, assistant coach etc. at the various age levels, please fill out the Coaches Application form on the AEMHA website...it is under "Online Forms". With the uncertainity surrounding Covid-19 and new regulations that are likely to be put in place, we are asking for people to submit their name for consideration for ALL the age groups.
Also, if you have not filled out a Coach's Evaluation for your coach LAST SEASON, please do so--they are a valuable resource for selecting coaches going forward...you can find that tab on the AEMHA website under Online Forms too!
2) In the coming weeks, you will be contacted by last year's Coach or a Team Representative to have an online "Zoom" meeting to recognize your team and give out awards. The AEMHA Executive recognizes how important it is to get closure to the past season and getting together as an Association is looking like it will not be able to happen.
Zoom is a free (free during these Covid-19 times) app that is pretty easy to navigate. You will receive a link inviting you to the meeting and your coaches will host it! It will give you a chance to check up on your teammates too, and if your living room is licensed, parents can celebrate along with the players.
I realize it's not the way we had hoped to celebrate our seasons but it is the best alternative. Look for that email coming from your coaches soon!
