Good afternoon IceDog Nation!
As we head into (hopefully) better days, your AEMHA Executive has come up with a plan to get equipment, trainer kits and jerseys back into storage for the summer.
THIS FRIDAY, MAY 1 (8 am - 1 pm), the Chesley Arena will be open for equipement, trainer kits and jersey collection. The collection will look a little bit like curbside pickup for groceries (but in reverse.) If you cannot make the specified time, please let an executive member know (Tara - Scott Price and Chesley/Paisley (Margie Wathke or Kevin Waddell) and we will make arrangements to pick-up it up and get it dropped off for you.
Our outgoing Equipment Manager Brandon Randall has kindly agreed to donate his time and skills for equipment collection and get it inventoried for whomever takes on the role. He kindly asks:
- jerseys are returned in their bags
- trainer kits are returned
- water bottles are washed prior to drop-off
- pucks are dropped off with their milk crates.
- iPads are dropped off WITH the correct charger and charging cord
- drop off is at the SOUTH end of the Chesley Arena--please remember to maintain social distancing during drop-off.
***if possible, perhaps ONE person per team could have the equipment/jerseys/trainer kits and drop it off to make things easier.
***It is my understanding that IP players have their own jerseys...if you live in the Tara Area, please drop your jersey off at Scott Price's house (105 Elgin Avenue) before Friday at noon...if you live in the Chesley/Paisley area, please drop your jersey off at Margie Wathke's home/mailbox (50 Concession 8, Arran-Elderslie) or Kevin Waddell’s home (117 4th St SW, Chesley) before Friday at noon.
Thank you to everyone who kept our equipment safe and sound during this unpredented time. We, the Executive, continue to wait for direction from Hockey Canada and OMHA for the next steps.
**Online Registration for next season is coming very soon so look for that email and check back on our AEMHA website and Facebook page for updates.
