Almost Christmas!

A wise coach once told me "You will know what kind of team (players) you have by Christmas!". So, here we are approaching Christmas and it sure seems like we have a good handle on the season!
The Atom Rep and PeeWee Rep Teams will be winding up their Regular Season play and entering Playdowns in the New Year. Good luck to them in their OMHA and WOAA Playoffs!
Our Local League Teams are fairing very well in their Regular Season and I applaud all the hard work they have put in. Many of our Local League Teams have Coaches that are new to the Coaching and they have certainly jumped in with both feet and I have received several compliments about the way they have treated players.
Our Novice Teams are entering the final weeks of 1/2 ice Hockey and will be looking forward to playing full ice. This coming Saturday is a big day in Chesley for the Novice and IP squads as they host games. Jimmy will be treated to lots of IceDog hockey on that day!!!
Coaches: Please remember (as we enter Winter Weather and the Holiday Season), if you must cancel a practice (or game), please let Greg Fritz know so he can cancel the ice and AEMHA doesn't get dinged for paying for ice we are not using. Also, if it is a game, remember to cancel the referees (Greg Fritz can help with this too.)
Our Association would also like to thank Brandon Randell for all his hard work as our Head Equipment Manager. Brandon has been doing this job for quite a few seasons now and we certainly appreciate all the effort that goes into organizing jerseys, goalie equipment etc. If you have any interest in this position within our Association, it will be available in the New Year.
