Teams Picked, Schedules Drawn!
By now, all the teams have hit the ice, rosters are being submitted, coaching staffs picked and scheduling meetings have happened for most age groups. Thanks to all the Mom's and Dad's that have stepped up to Coach, Assistant Coach or be a Trainer this year. Also, Parent Reps, Managers and On-Ice-Volunteers are vital to any team's success and thanks to all that rose to the occasion.
Hopefully you are finding the Facebook page and the AEMHA website useful for keeping up to date on your teams and other IceDog news. The next big event is Hockey Day in Arran-Elderslie on Saturday, October 26th with Team pictures, IceDog Apparel and each team strutting their stuff to kick off their season.
A reminder that if you have a concern about coaching staff or Executive decisions, please take the following steps:
- wait 24 hours
- if you still have concerns, contact your parent rep for your team
- submit a letter to the Executive for review.
Our hard-working Executive meet on the third Tuesday of every month and do our very best to resolve conflicts in a timely manner. We ask for everyone's patience as we try to make the best possible decision for all parties involved and the organization as a whole.
